First off, I do want to start off by saying I did sign up for a payday loan from Sure Advance back in February or March.  I don't have an exact date, because my loan is officially with a collections agency.  I got a loan from them and multiple other vendors due to me getting hit with over a $900 rent, and had to get loans to help me pay it without getting evicted.  My loan was approved for $300, with a renewal fee of $57.42.  I was constantly making that payment thinking I was actually making payments on it.  Never did they actually let me know that that was my renewal fee, and that's all I would be paying unless I called and gave my information on the phone.  Most online vendors give you an option to make payments online. As weeks kept going by, my account kept getting withdrawn for that same amount.  Nothing was accumulating towards my actual loan.  Now, adding my fees all up, I have paid $229.68.  I thought I was close to paying that loan off.  Each time I looked at their calendar with my payments, I figured it would've been paid off in May, which was when those "payments" should've stopped.  

About 2 weeks ago, I had an unknown loan go into my account and I didn't know where it came from.  Also, I got a withdraw from "identatec.com" or something of that sort.  So, I wasn't comfortable with those two instances on my account, so I closed that account and opened a new one.  That same day I opened that new banking account, I let Sure Advance and my other online vendors that I got a new banking account, and I don't have a bank statement yet.  But, I would give my new bank statement and account information willingly if they would accept.  CashNetUSA was willing to work with me and was able to extend my loan without taking out the fees.  They've given me time and I'll work with them.  Oakridge lenders, I will work with because they'll allow me to make a payment by phone.  When it came to SureAdvance, they would NOT accept my new information.  I would need to sign a new document with my signature and mail it back to them, along with my new banking information.  This was maybe 3 days before my loan was due.  I couldn't make it in time, nor would they accept any payments by phone.  So, now my loan is now with a collections agency. I contacted them, and they said I owed over $360.  I told them that I couldn't pay it in full, because I thought I actually made payments towards that loan. But I'd be willing to make a payment.  No, that collection agency would NOT accept a partial payment.  Keep in mind that I was not even a week late on this loan.  I was at first a voluntary, which means I was willing to pay the loan. Then I was put down as a refusal, which means they would take legal actions against me.  So, I am extremely pissed off with them that they were not willing to work with me, and not even taking into account that I thought I was actually making payments.  

So, at this moment in time, I am actually terrified of what will be done.  Never have I ever had an collections agency tell me to be ready for the consequences.  They actually threatened me.  I'll pay off that loan whenever I can, but I'm not going to be able to until May or June.  We'll see what happens.
