Sureway Beneficial - Sherway Beneficial Ripoff! Tricked into giving out my personal information Chaplain New York

I received a phone call on 04/26/05 from a lady with a foreign accent(probably from India or middle eastern). I didn't get a chance to know what her name was but she knew mine.

She said "Vincent, you have been approved for a mastercard with a credit line of $2000 with an APR of 0% for the next three years, all I need from you is $249 for the application fee which will be charged on my checking account and some personal information". It sounded too good to be true but I fell for it. I gave her all my personal info including my SN# and D. license#.

Immediately I started suspecting something wasn't right so while she was transferring me to a guy name John from the processing department I went to yahoo search engine and typed Sureway Beneficial. Sure enough,in bold letters the word SCAM was written next to the company name.

I never felt so violated in my whole entire life. As soon as John came on the phone I told him about the website I just found regarding his company and for it's reputation of scamming and he replied with the same accent as the lady that his company is not spelled S-u-r-eway but it is spelled S-h-e-rway. Now I knew this f*@#ker was lying to me because I asked the previous lady to spell it out.

When I told him that the lady spelled it differently he said that she was a new employee and she misspelled it. I couldn't take it much longer so I told him that if he charges my account or in any way misuse my info I will notify authorities and also file a lawsuit.

He then told me that he would delete my personal info. and see to that my info. not be misused in any way but I'm sure he was lying. He even gave me a number with his ext.(866) 642-9465 ext. 125 which is a bogus number that is busy so you can't get through at all. Eventually I hung up but not before I gave John a piece of my mind.

I then immediately went to my bank and closed my checking account. I still believe that these people have my info. and until they are caught and put to jail or death my life including others who suffered the same ordeal is at stake.
