Sureway Beneficial promised a credit card and never delivered Ripoff Champlain New York

I received a phone call from Sureway Beneficial with an offer to receive a Mastercard. Trying to rebuild my credit, I reluctantly agreed and paid the $249.00 to receive this card. What a fool I was. I was told that within 25 days, I would receive my Mastercard with a $2000.00 limit.

That was on April 28, 2005. Twenty-five days went and no card. I made several calls to Sureway and was told the "packet" was on it's way.

On June 27th, I received my "packet". It consisted of flyers regarding car loans, credit management, fast cash offers, free satellite tv systems, wireless phones, a booklet on identity theft prevention (how appropriate) and a book mark. All of that for the low, low price of $249.00.

There was also a letter from Sureway Beneficial Management welcoming me to their service. The letter stated that I would be receiving my MasterCard within 25 days of receiving this letter.

Well, it's August 3rd and still no card. I actually called them again today and was told that I should be receiving the card anyday.

Upon further questioning, I was told that the card would not be coming from them, but from another processing center. She didn't know which one and could only give me an address to write to (no phone number was available to her). The $249.00 was for the "packet" I had received. What a joke!!!

I called my bank to get a front and back copy of the check I send to the Processing Center. Not only did they sucker me once, they suckered me twice. I was actually stupid enough to send another check for $39.95 to this processing center for a setup fee. Of course this check was cashed on July 7, 2005.

Not only am I angry, but I am terribly embarassed for being had by Sureway Beneficial.
