Monday, my husband received a notice from this company with writing such as this on the outside "URGENT: TIME SENSITIVE DOCUMENT" "FIRST CLASS"... On the inside it was a notice saying to return this sales notification with payment of 47.86 or 2 payments of 23.98 for him to receive a television set. It had an authorization number, date. It also mentions that satisfaction or refund of money guaranteed by sender if returned within 30 days of delivery. "Amount includes all product, handling and delivery costs." It had the address only, no other form of contact.
Since in the past I have been scammed for money and sometimes not ever receiving refunds I had to check this company out before I allowed my husband to send them a dime.
There were plenty of red flags for this mailing 1. No telephone number and 2. Just a cheesy look. So, I first went to the Better Business Bureau and looked up the company not a bad report. So my next more reliable source "Rip Off Reports" I checked Tuesday morning. I read a number of reports and was more than convinced that this company would give us trouble.
Most of the other reports had different type of products with higher fees but the delivery or products or rather no products were consistent. I just figure they changed their tactics.
Never, never, never do business with a company before you contact "Rip Off Reports". Don't rely on the Better Business Bureau because it has proved time and time again that it is not reliable. Read, as many reports as you can very carefully, make sure it is detailed and make sure the consumer or person claiming the report is not just someone mad because they misunderstood something.
I can tell from all the reports listed from this company were legit and sincere so, thank you for making your reports and deterring me from another fight. Thank you RIPOFF Report.
