This ind idividual called and stated that I won the sweepstakes, and said he was an agent with the Justice bureau from # 202-609-7034, with very bad English speaking skills. That was the first red flag, he stated that I have a package with an $800,000.00 check in it and I must contact customs in NJ. Christopher Adams 718-285-7889 with a claim number. I asked him how would customs know what I have in a letter and why is it comming from outside the US . He rushed me off the phone and stated take it up with customs and pay a fee. Red Flagg # 2. I looked the up on the Internet and found it to be a scam so I called the number and Christopher Adams answers the phone; US Customs with bad English and asked me for a claim number, after we talked he ask for a fee for release because Bank of America was insuring the check. I asked why should I pay and he said it was customs insurance for delivery. I then told him I new of his scam and he hung the phone up and now will not answer. Please everyone be aware of this scam and listen to the back ground noise from the two callers they are too stupid to turn down the same TV show they were watching! Lol
