Jacqueline Fay Goldhagen, a/k/a "Jacqui Holland," has recently changed the name of her hypnosis practice from "New Age Hypnotist" to "Synergy Hypnosis & Life Coaching," in Los Angeles, California. Her old website was http://www.newagehypnotist.com, and her new site is http://www.synergy-hypnosis.com (not to be confused with other "Synergy Hypnosis" practices in other states).
Jacqui has just invested a great deal of time and energy in her own hypnosis training, and now she is training others to become hypnotherapists. The term "board certified" refers to LICEHSED DOCTORS. *I became aware of Ms. Goldhagen/Holland during the events which gave rise to my initial Report about my attempt to purchase a custom "sexy hypnosis" video. She denied being a fetish model, but evidence has surfaced since that, as recently as April, 2015, she was making custom adult-fetish videos through Erika Jordan's website at http://www.customdreammodels.com.
The purpose of this report is to raise public awareness of the difference between genuine medical licensure and training in alternative-medicine. The latter is most certainly useful -- I practice hypnosis myself -- but hypnotists are simply not "board certified." That is a term reserved for licensed medical practitioners.

Many Hypnosis Boards Exist

This hypnotist may very well be "Board Certified", though it's probaly different than what you were thinking. There is no central board for hypnotists. Instead, there are many, many hypnosis boards with which to certify. For example, the largest board that certifies hypnotists is called the National Guild of Hypnosis. International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy

American Hypnosis Board for Clinical Social Work
American Board of Medical Hypnosis
American Board of Psychological Hypnosis
If you do a Google search for the words "hypnosis board" you will find all of those and many, many more.
Most states don't require licensure, though a few states require that a hypnotist register with them. Colorado and Washington both require that someone practicing hypnosis or hypnotherapy register with the State. In Texas, you can't practice hypnotherapy unless you are a licensed psychologist. Though, practicing hypnosis (rather than hypnotherapy) is fine.
Hopefully this information makes this topic more clear, and is helpful.
If you are unhappy with the hypnotist's work, talk to her. If you get no resolve, find out which board she is certified with and call them.
