I bought a T-mobile/HTC Touch Pro 2 $500 cell phone in August and the #8 on the sliding keyboard bent up on 10-13-09. I called T-mobile and HTC to try to get a replacement and was told it would cost me over $100 to get a replacement.
I argued with them but they said it was my fault (could not possibly be b/c the keyboard is reassessed in) and that they would not give me a new phone. I feel like I was ripped off by both companies. I have been a T-mobile customer for 5 years and NEVER complained once about any phone I have had.
BEWARE of their so called Warranty as they do not stand behind their phones...
