Sales: As I got out of my car, two guys exited a white pick up truck with cab. We were in the parking lot of Target in San Jose, CA. They told me they had extra two extra pieces of inventory one they planed on stashing in hotel room for them and the other selling to some lucky person. One guy took off in into Target. They only had a half hour before they had to return back to there boss. He opened the pick up cab which was full with audio merchandise brand new in boxes. He showed me the MSRP on the box $3199.00 told me he installed audio system in high end homes. He informed me it had a hard drive to save movies and shows and the audio system was designed by the guy who designed the IMAX theater sound system. I told him I did not need home theater system and he said well how much would you pay for some thing like this. I answered maybe $300 he then said how much can you get out of an ATM I said everyone knows you can get $300 out of ATM. He then took the speakers out of the truck and with out asking put them in my car opened the box to show me it was all in the box and there was a three year warranty. Then proceeded to walk to the ATM. Before I really had time to process what was going on I took the money out of the ATM and handed it to him. He then literally ran back to his truck and drove off. I went home, looked at website paramaxaudio.com which had no detail. Turned out the system had no hard drive and there were several complaints from the U.K. & U.S. about this same scam.
