I've now waited 4 months and still haven't received my rebate. The only way to contact them is by phone, and it's always busy or I'm left on hold. Of course there's no 800 number, so the call is long distance.

It's the rebate con.

They don't have any intention of giving you a rebate. They just tell you that to lure you into buying their trash.
It's the only way they can get the junk out the door. People won't buy the trash without a rebate.
So, the company lies and promises some money back. Most people laugh at this nonsense. But, there is always someone who will buy just to get a rebate. That's the sucker they were hoping for.
In the future, don't fall for the rebate con. Plan on paying the full price and never getting a dime back.
Better yet, ask yourself, how good can this product be if they have to use the rebate con to get it to go away?
