Then I was in the hospital and while in AOL came into my bank account and hit my account with fees I did not owe on a cancelled account. The banks allow that on electronic transactions to go in on continous bases and cause additional fees to be added to consumers accounts.
At that time I had around $330 in fees attached to my account which was then charged and I had disputed they claimed to have clear this matter up all happening in 2003. Now in 2006 when I justt open a new account in which I had no over drafts and or issues they came into my account on Friday once a new desposit was received and took all my money out of my account claiming that it was owed to them from 2003.
I disputed this and because of this it caused my family great financial distress as I had bills to pay and also rent which is due now. My balance in my account should have been $620 but they took it all and tonight I saw they closed my account and took all my money. With those within claiming that they were so called investigating this issue.
Last friday I had $164.98 in my account and that vanished over the week-end whereby in speaking to banking officials they claimed that is was never in the account but then I had copies from the bank itself of this transaction being in the account.
I am now without any money, I have a heart condition and children for which I can not provide because this bank had taken all my money without any investigate and or nothing.
There and others who have had accounts within TCF that had complaints and because this bank is open later than most I feel I have been totally violated within any rights and or due process can you look into this because there are other customers who have complaints of this nation as well.
In the case of the counterfeiting issue I did all the investigations and gave the information to the secret service whereby the bank did nothing. This is outrageous please investigate this and help me .
Thanks

TCF screwed me too
AUTHOR: Don - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, May 25, 2007
POSTED: Friday, May 25, 2007Opened a new account a few weeks back, deposited $1005.00 in it, wrote my rent check. TCF kept my funds, my rent check bounced. They claimed old "fees" from 3 years ago. Why was I not informed of these "fees" when I opened the account?
Because TCF are crooks.

POSTED: Tuesday, October 31, 2006It just seems that's the only way that a company can attach any of your assets after a period of 3 years.
Otherwise it's highly unlikely that a company will just pop in and take withdrawals. And as for the money orders...You said that they let counterfeiters go in and put $5,000 worth of money orders in your account?
Which means someone had to physically bring the money orders in. Why would someone just randomly make that large of a deposit to your account?
For sure, dispute the withdrawals from your account and have TCF start the investigation.
