TCP Logistics is a privately held transportation and logistics provider. Drivers for TCP Logistics are independent contractors that service several states throughout America. They are highly dedicated to the service they provided their staff and clients, "all we truly have to offer is service I mean because everyone can do it for less, everybody can do it faster, so really truly the only thing we have to offer is our drivers, our employees, our contractors, and our service. This company was established September 2015 after purchasing North & South Express Logistics.
Leads for TCP Logistics come from several different avenues. President, Rod Larson, expressed that they reach out through Craigslist in order to recruit driver's for their company. Leads for potential customers are primarily found through cold calling shipping companies, "what we normally do is I'll cold call. We'll tell them who we are, give them a three minute spill, and direct them to our website. I'll follow up with a phone call or personal visit...then we can get them to start building a relationship, and hopefully start hauling their freight."
Once a customer has placed their first order they are made top priority for TCP Logistics. New customers are flagged so their team of highly trained dispatchers will know to provide the highest level of service. Additionally, new customers are called by the dispatch team to thank them for the opportunity of their business. CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – TCP LOGISTICS
During the onsite interview Mr. Larson was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Larson explained that while complaints are rare, he did have a situation where one of his drivers stole a washing machine off the back of a truck. In order to remedy this Mr. Larson sent a check for the cost of the washing machine, and turned the driver in question over to the authorities. The customer in this situation was beyond happy, "they we're shocked truly."
When asked to comment on complaints posted Ripoff Report's website Mr. Larson explained that he had a driver who complained about the amount of money he was making with the company. However, drivers for TCP Logistics are independent contractors, and in control of how much or little they work. TCP Logistics does business with several high profile companies, and passed their DOT inspection with flying colors.
When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Larson expressed that dispatch now how more interaction with customers and drivers when it comes to complaints. Additionally, they have a new operations manager named Lynn who had over nine years of experience.

As a matter of policy, when a business becomes a member of the Corporate Advocacy Program they agree to allow Ripoff Report to contact every client who filed a complaint so they can make things right with them. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer. DO NOT SIGN on with this outfit. They make all kinds of promises and don't keep them. You will be told that you can make 2000.00 a week after expenses. I have not gotten a check for more than 700.00 even though they owe me 5000.00 above what they have paid. They say weekly pay but the contract says they can take 30 days to pay you. They charge you for base plates 60.00 a week to the tune of about 3000.dollars.
You won't get your first check for 3 weeks even though their website says no holdbacks. They charge for fuel card use, limited to 400.00 per day and they charge 5.00 every time. There is also a charge for scanning the paperwork to them and then you have to mail it at your expense also.
Their loads are short runs and he will tell you that you can gross 900.00 a day but it's actually 500 to 700 a day and then you only get 70% of that.
Save yourself the trouble and the headache, look somewhere else.
