TCTalent Offices, no matter where you go, will sit you down, tell you about everything they have done, how great Lou Pearlman is, take you into a private room, tell you that you are a 10... A representative will give you a call, tell you that you only have a limited time to decide whether you want to be a part of the company... they cut you deals they say.
Understand please that this is not an agency... this is a company that offers you webspace. If you have the time and have the professional photos already to put on the space, you may think it is still a great idea... after all, they say the industry is moving toward this, which they are...
However, the bookings that you will recieve will be for small potato stuff, like passing out flyers in a city to advertise. TCTalent considers this promotional. I joined thinking I could at least build my portfolio doing various jobs. I have been in TCTalent for a year and have recieved many bookings, worked the majority of them, and am still in debt.
Please, don't give money so you can work... it will never add up to more then you spent!!! Please trust me. Many other modeling opportunities will come along for you, so don't be pressured to make the decision to go with these people. I just investigated Millennium Model Management and they are basically the same company, instead of telling me I was a 10, they said I recieved an A... Give me a break!
You are a 10, i'm sure, but that doesn't mean anything to those people. Find a company that your commission will pay the costs, not a company that expects a down payment.
Don't pay to be a model. Make them pay you, please!
And TCTalent, I HATE YOU!
