I was scouted for TCT and attended an open call on 1/16/03 where they took three pictures of me and took my measurements. Leaving they gave me the Industry magazine introducing it as their own.
I then recieved a telephone interview on 1/18/03 and I was promised I would make $500-1000 a day after paying $800 by credit card or debit.
When I went home later I again read over the magazine and noticed that there were unnumbered pages. As to my suprise I pulled these glued pages out of the magazine and it turns out there was an eight page mini magazine with information on TCT mixed in with information about Lou Pearlman, the chairman, along with John Daly, Scott Macblane, Max Azria and many others that supposedly work and find all there models from TCT.
These terrible people stole my money and now have my credit card number along with the picture they took of me that they may use to promote this scamming. Please Help ASAP

I guess I don't understand what you are angry about. Are you angry that the information you recieved is not numbered? How does this constitute a rip-off? I just started working for this company, and so far I think it is a legitimate company. I have seen success stories from our own office. Most of the Rip off reports I have read are from people that are having a problem getting a refund. I understand that, and I believe it is a legitimate concern. However, I am not sure that not having the pages numbered in our info packet is in anyway misleading or malevolent. The back section of the magazine is meant to answer questions you may have and also to give you a chance to ask question of your interviewer.
I sincerly doubt that you were guarunteed that you would be making hundreds of dollars a day, especially since in every presentation and on the website it specifically says there are NO guaruntees.
More over, no one in this reports seems to mention, that the fee for our service is stated IN the initial presentation. The client is not asked for any money at an open call. They get the info packet, they get 2 or 3 days to think about it before the interviewer calls. How is that high pressure. If you really aren't interested, don't answer the phone. If you really aren't interested, don't schedule an interview, and if you really aren't interested, don't give TCTalent any money.
I think this is a great company and I am proud to work for them! I think I am opening doors of opportunity to people who may not normally have them.

first, we TELL you to read the magazine- DUH, why would we pay to have that insert in the magazine- we WANT YOU TO READ IT. in there it specifically states we DO NOT guarantee any amount of income- NOWHERE in the video or in our materials OR IN THE TAPE RECORDED CONFIRMATION AFTER YOU'VE ENROLLED DO WE EVEN DISCUSS PROMISES of work.
In fact, we do just the opposite- in everything you were given, and in the tape recorded confirmation we state unequivocally "TCT does not guarantee any amount of income or bookings by registering on our site."
you are so full of it. you obviously didn't pay attention to anything that was said.
I mean some of the complaints on here sound legit and all, and I know some scouts may stretch the truth to get you in to the open call, but that is all cleared up on the video in the written stuff we send you home to read and on the phone calls.
