The banks ATM showed funds available, but bank had placed a hold on the deposit. They ordered withdrawls to get the maximum number of overdrafts. Their response was you could have cashed the check with us and deposited the cash but because you deposited the check it was held. It was a check issued from the State of New York retirement system! I have the AtM slip showing the funds were available before the debits were made.
