They are quick to say "you are approved" only later to tell you the underwriter needs one more thing or for us to do one more thing for them! My husband and I have been set to close any day now for the past soon to be 5 months. Texas Lending Loan Officer D. Knight and loan processor R Cagel only convey countless requirements over and over and over again. Knowing full well, we believe that they are never going to actually close on the loan. Our house appraised well over what we were asking for. They call back and want us to consolidated more debit into our home saying, "WE HAVE APPROVED YOUR LOAN FOR 80% OF THE APPRAISED AMOUNT OF YOUR HOME". However, almost 5 months later we still haven't closed and as of today I have made 2 phone calls ad 2 emails asking again when are we going to close and they have not even called or emailed back. Please do yourself and your family a favor and find a more ethical lending agency. My husband is a Publisher/Editor of a newspaper and he has decided that since he has ink by the barrel full, he will be putting the word out in the local Dallas Newspaper! MaLinda
