I was first contacted in December by a fast talking representative Tyler and was told that unless I paid $1,250 and used their services that the IRS would be able to levy my payroll and bank accounts,even though I had already made arrangements with the IRS. In addition to agreeing to overpay the IRS by 40%, he threatened that if I didn't make the decision any parent should make and protect my family, I would be held accountable to multiple additional charges.
Reluctantly, but scared not to act, I gave them half of my money and was told that a tax attorney would be contacting me right away. Several days later a phone rep called me nad when I asked Brittany if she was an attorney, she laughed and said that Tyler tells allot of people that, but I would not ever be talking to one of their attorneys. She asked me to send her what my hardships were for the years that I didn't file my taxes and she would be going to the IRS and I woul dsee a seriour reduction in what I owed the IRS because they woul dabate many of the fees and maybe reduce by 30% - 40% of what I owed overall.
I sent her the information and after 2 weeks I started calling her and leaving voice mails weekly. In late January, I finally got an email from her telling me that she was on maternity leave and she would take care of everything when she got back.
She never got back to me and after 15 documented phone calls with voice mails to her and the office manager - Wayne and dozens of emails Brittany emailed me back telling me that I should be patient and that her leave was continued. After many more failed attempts to get a hold of anyone at all, I received a letter from Audrey stating that they were making a last attempt to get in contact with me because I have been unreachable. This of course outraged me to no end.
I finally placed a BBB complaint in late March and Brittany finally emailed me back AFTER 3 MONTHS stating that because I placed a BBB complaint that her file was pulled from her and that because of my actions she couldn' thelp me!
Now into early April, I got the receptionist to transfer me to Wayne by telling her that he was expecting my call and Wayne told me that my actions have superceeded any liabillity on their part and that I would not ever be getting a refund.
Ted responded to my BBB complaint stating that I demanded that they stop doing any work on my behalf and that I would not be getting any refund. Is there no justice out there for companies like this that are able to lie, cheat and steal from people? If I treated anyone like this ever in my life, I would fully expect to be put in jail and make restitution to those that I have took money from to deliver nothing but lost sleep and financial hardship - the exact problem they are supposed to be helping with.
