TIMOTHY BULLOCK TIM/ BOSBILLIONS Tim asked to be paid a certain amount money to buy out the masters of one of his songs. After I paid the amount he now backs out the of giving me the masters. He stoled my money. Internet

I am an artist/singer/writer from Kansas City, I have found working with Timothy Bullock...aka: Tim Bosky, one of the most rewarding experiences in my life!!! I met him by coming across some tracks that had been taken from him...I wrote to them with no knowledge of this. I ended up contacting him becuse I was so in complete "awe" of his work and he still received me with open arms! He allowed me to establish a relationship with him and allowed me to stay in his home to help he me to launch my career.

This doesn't sound even remotely like the soft hearted, wonderful guy that I know. He is fair and just in his ways and lookss out for both parties in all of his situations. Please forgive me for being so plain with it but.... In my opinion...this conversation should have been worked out with Mr Bosky, as I know he doesn't steal from people. I KNOW the man that he is...and the man you speak of...does NOT...in ANY WAY....have that character. You owe it to him, as well as yourself to negotiate reasonably and in the proper fashion.

I do handle my business corectly because I have been in the music business for 50 years. Also before I took this client on my rosters list, he was dealing with Tim's partner in crime Billy Moss who took advantage of him with Tim and did not tell to put this deal in contract before he recorded. Whoever you are I don't know who your getting this legal mumble jumble from but this is not the way the record companies work. I have been in the music business for 50 years and recording companies do not work like that. I don't think any producer in their right mind would talk to his artist like that or his manager. It's not the way the industry works.

First you would have another kind of contract. Which will be a legal instrument of masters sell. Another legal instrument usually comes with a publishing company which is different from a recording company because it's another company that is separate from the recording company. In Most cases the publishing company which is different from a recording company. Which means  conflict of interest sometimes. Gentlemen whoever you are I stand by what I say which means TIM is doing illegal practices telling this young green artists that they own their masters. And this has to be stopped.  Besides that, I will get my new client a recording deal, either artist development contract or a recording contract. From my dear friends who are chairman of major label and I'm pretty sure about it because they have been my dear friends for many many years. Tim will be bankrupt in this business and nobody will be dealing with him very soon. 

Again sir not to be rude but it sounds like you did not handle your business correctly, you should of had that agreement / contract signed before the record was even released to your client from out of the studio, and like i said i am a producer as well and for a producer at our level we do not sell out records for full rights to a company or label unless the invoice is substantial enough, but most platinum producer do not sell their rights, this will create a conflict with royalties for them, for example let us say a record is sold for $5,000, this might sound like a lot to most but in the industry (not making you sound dumb) $5,000 is the mandatory for a beat from a producer but ofcourse they keep the masters so they can collect royalties from the mechanical's as well as from the spins via p.r.o.  but if the record was sold for lets say $40,000 then in most occasions the producer might sell the masters to the company because they can afford to lose the rights to the song for the fact that it might never actually sell, so no sweat off of their back you know.


Im not sure whom conducted this transaction but again if business was conducted correctly that management would have been in the studio with producer timothy or even before the payment was made they would have done the paperwork first then collection of the payment, if you sent a payment first then tried to do the payment then you are not conducting business right, you cant go to a car dealership and drive off in a benz then say ok that car was $45,000 and you agreed to pay, but now we will send over the agreement for you to handle the rest on your end..... that person is going to say ummm lol......so you see business was not handled correctly


What I suggest to do, my professional opinion would be to talk to timothy bullock and work out the splits the best way possible and go from there, it usually would be 100/100 technically 50% production 50% writers, if he is willing try to get about 10% more of the production if possible 60/40 splits that way from the royalties your client will be able to get more on the back end, if you can possibly get more then 60% great! if not, well all i can really say is make sure you handle your transactions correctly next time sir/ma'am 

Timothy Bullock, also known as Bos Billions, has been running this operation of exploiting young artists with another guy named Billy Moss for quite some time. Together, these two take young, inexperienced artists and manipulate them into situations for their own personal gain and benefit. Attempting to own an artists publishing and masters, after paying for it, is just half the battle.  I highly suggest all artists, and industry professionals alike to stay clear from these guys. They do bad business and are unprofessional and dishonest.

My Client made an agreement with this Producer Tim before he entered the studio that he would own the masters after he paid the amount that TIM asked for! He has an Invoice from Tim for the amount that he paid! Also my client's lawyer wrote the contract and had my client send it out to Tim and he never signed it.

I am sorry but i am a producer as well from universal records out of atlanta ga, and i have personally worked with this producer myself on a wide variety of production, i can promise you this artist probably just did not read his contract correctly, this producer is a multi platinum producer as well as i am and we do not sell our masters to anyone, well sell the beat do up the split sheets and agreements sign and go from there, obviously this artist did not ready their agreement, so i suggest for anyone whose wanting to work with this producer to contact this artist first and have him fax or email over his agreement he has signed, if you are wanting to get in contact with me on more information about timothy or how contracts work i will speak briefly for this is a consultation service that we offer, which ofcourse is not free,
