2 years ago I moved and transferred my service and add a phone line.I waited all day for tecnician to come. He never arrived or called. WHen I called to find out what happened I was told the work order had been canceled (by Time Warner) because there were issuses with the phone service. No one bothered to call me about the cancelation.
They wanted to send someone out again 4 days later. I canceled the service and the replacement Company was out the next morning and on time.
6 weeks ago my son at a different residence and city had the same issue. The technician did not call the number given to notify he was on his way. resulting in no one being available to let him in. After speaking with several people and getting no where he had to leave work and go to thier office fumming inorder toget his service connected the day promised.
3 weeks ago my Ex husband set an appointment and again a no show. After several calls he canceled the order.
Yesterday: I canceled cable and in order to keep the internet at a semi reasonable price I had to get a phone. The appointment time cam and went and no call. To add insult to injury I received a ROBO call to inquire how my technicians visit went. Customer service had no idea why this happened and said the dispatcher would call me within the hour 17 hours later no call.
I spent an hour and a half on the phone with 3 departments. One person said the tech came but did not enter the home just changed something on the pole, My reply to that is he must have walked the power lines like a tight rope walker because he never entered my drive or yard where the pole is located. she offered to send someone out in 3 days and she would deduct the phone from my bill. Nice since I don't have the service.
The next rep informed me I do not have service with them it was canceled!I told her yes I do have internet and she again said no you don't. While on the phone with her another person called to ask about the bad responses on the robo call. He asked what went poorly about the visit and again I reported there was no visit! He left me his name and number and asked me to call him when I was finished with my current call to TWC.
I called back and he said the tech did the pole work but neglected to note the phone order. Again no technician ever called to say they were on there way. No one came to my home. I took off work early to be there and was working in the yard untli late. He did not come.
My current stutus is there is to be someone there after 5:30 PM and I am looking into a new internet provide.
