!!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!! --- Backyard Game Products (Washers, Cornhole). We have a thief in Missouri that initially was on track to run a great business. However, that was just a front to build up his ratings to dupe buyers in a scam that would never deliver. He goes by the name TJ Power, but his real names is "James T. Power". He resides in St. Peters, MO with his girlfriend Stephanie Hickman, which I would classify as an accomplice (since she knows about his ways and I have confronted her face to face). Not to draw out a long story, these are the facts: 1) He almost didn't come through on paid business obligations for me (but after bring the St. Peters police into the mix, it was enough to force his hand to deliver on the paid product). When I met him for the delivery I told him that if I hear about him not delivering on other buyers products, then I will surely spread the word about the theft(s). 2) A few days ago the buyers started to come out of the woodwork with claims that TJ (real name James) took their money and never delivered the product that they paid for (see attached photo). This may be just the tip of the iceberg, since TJ (James) bounces back and for between St. Peters, MO and Charleston, SC. He tells everyone that he has lymphoma (a really sad story), but I don't think that is the case at all. A Case Net court records search of James T. Power shows fraud from passing bad checks. There is a recent listing in Missouri (which is a Felony, and he is out on bond) and there are later cases in Charleston, SC via a court records search there for check fraud.
