TLC HOME IMPROVEMENT - INVOLVED IN HOME IMPROVEMENT SCAM!!
Home Remodelers Direct owned by OFER FARKASH is a call center located at 3151 Cahuenga blvd. in Los Angeles CA which telemarkets to unsuspecting home owners for home improvement jobs. It presents itself as a Contractors Referral Agency but in fact it is owned by OFER FARKASH of SAHL Builders. It is not a referral agency at all
They use a website LocalRemodeling.com as set-up. If you enter LocalRemodeling.com it directs you to site named Home Remodelers Direct it presents itself as a Contractor Referral Agency. Normal referral agencies refer contractors that are not part of the referral agency itself. When you call you reach the call center owned and operated again by OFER FARKASH.
Referral Agency Companies cannot provide Financing or take Credit Cards and are not members in the NATIONAL KITCHEN AND BATH association. Their site shows them as members. If you call their telephone number you will reach one of their Telemarketers in the fake referral agency. The only contractors that they refer to a unsuspecting consumer are the Contractors owned & operated by OFER FARKASH. TLC Home Improvement is just one of several of his companies.
BUYERS BEWARE - HOME OWNERS DIRECT aka THE HOME DESIGN CENTER IS A BIG FRAUD.
GO GREEN REMODELING Lic # 468748, UNIQUE HOME DESIGN Lic #441931 and ECO CONSTRUCTION Lic # 366984. These are the other companies that do business through HOME OWNERS DIRECT and are owned by OFER FARKASH's set-up. It is a total rip-off. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME COMPANY and they want you to think they are ACTING as COMPETITORS.

Please take notice that Ofer Farkash ("Farkash") has initiated a civil action in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, Case No. BC494297, due to allegedly false statements made by you (the "Action"). In the Action, Farkash seeks to subpoena the records of Xcentric Ventures, LLC, in an effort to ascertain your identity, for the IP addresses for the numerous complaints that you have posted on the website Rip Off Report, www.ripoffreport.com, under the pseudonym "Jim," Sue, or any other pseudonym, about Farkash. The business records derived from the aforementioned subpoena are to be produced by Xcentric Ventures, LLC, to Michael D. Kolodzi, Esq., 3151 Cahuenga Blvd. West, Suite 244, Los Angeles, California 90068, in compliance with FRCP Rule 45 and California Code of Civil Procedure 2020.410, et seq.

I am the attorney for Ofer Farkash. Please be advised that the foregoing "complaint" is nothing more the empty sentiments of a scorned ex-employee, who wants to harm the business reputation of Mr. Farkash. Unfortunately, in this day and age, many ex-employees and competitors resort to sites like ripoffreport.com to convey their vitriol in an effort to harm or extort their target, knowing that the report cannot be taken down.
Indeed, a cursory review of any of the corporate records on file with the Secretary of State of California and/or the Contractor State License Board would easily disprove the allegations that Farkash "owns" these companies. Rest assured, our office is currently involved in a defamation lawsuit against the poster of this "complaint." If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
