TLG Greatfn - Great Fun Unauthorized charges on Visa card Norwalk Connecticut

Be wary of a scam involving Priceline.com that we got caught in. When you book a flight with them, you get hooked into a 30 day trial for some group called TLG*GREATFN (dba: Great Fun). Turns out we elected for a 30 day free trial for their travel services when we bought a plane ticket on Priceline.com. Don't click here for free offer or any other nonsense on the Priceline site!

Apparently it is a back door process that automatically rolls to a full membership costing $11.99 per month when you unknowingly fail to contact them at the end of the 30 day trial.

When we booked the flights, we answered no to their offer, but it enrolled us anyway.

For the third month in a row, it appeared on our visa bill. What confused us was that it was a Connecticut charge, and we had been in CT so we assumed it was a legit charge for which the receipt had been lost.

When it showed up again, I called Visa to report a fraudulent charge. The Visa rep said, before I could tell him the name, was it from TLG Greatfn? They must be getting inundated with calls!

So we Googled the name and the number of hits was overwhelming! The same story, over and over.

Be aware don't use Priceline.com to book until they get rid of this nonsense.

Priceline - if you read this, I'd suggest you get rid of this group because your association with them is severly damaging your brand.
