When I called this company to help me avoid foreclosure on my house they said "Don't worry, we can help you.". I was told not to pay my mortgage company and let them work out an agreement with my mortgage company to make my payments more affordable and work a new plan so that I could save my house. They told me to pay them $1000.00 and they would get the job done. The whole time I was in communications with them and they kept telling me not to worry that everything would be ok that there would be different options & would get to pick one that would work best for me.

Even when I asked if I should talk to my mortgage company if they called they said "no, there is nothing that they could do for me & that they would take care of it & not to worry just keep saving my money because they may want a percentage down to start my plan". So after I already paid $1000.00 to TMC I saved another $1200.00 towards what I would need to pay down on this new workout program they were going to set up with Countrywide. Then TMC called me and told me that because I was on a Forbarence program there was nothing that they could work out with them. They told me I needed to go ahead and pay $2200.00 to stay on the program I was on with my mortgage company and there was nothing more they could do.

I called my mortgage company and explained what happened and they told me that TMC could do no more than I could of done. I called TMC back & told them I wanted my $1000.00 back since they could not help me so that I could go ahead and put that with the money I was told to save(totalling $2200.00) and give that to Countrywide. The first guy I talked to said he would look into how to get it back to me fast so that I wouldn't mess up the plan I was on with Countrywide & call me back. Some other lady named Patti called and said she not give back my money because they were the reason that I was able to continue on my plan and not lose my house.

I called Countrywide and they said that was not correct. They told me that they called 3times but I was already in a program so they could do nothing. I really feel like I was swindled out of $1000.00. And for someone who doesn't have the money to throw away it really hurt me.

I am now trying to set up another program with Countrywide because TMC has neither called me back nor refunded the money for services they could not provide. I filed a complaint with the BBB & they received no response from TMC Financial Services... big surprise!!!
