I have worked for Transam Trucking as a lease company driver for about 4 months and have made no money. This job was the sole provider for my household and I was never able to send my wife home a decent paycheck to pay the mortgage and etc. I got paid weekly and I would drive anywhere from 2800-3300 miles per week, never a late load and bring home paychecks like a negative 560.00 or a positive 179.00 I recieved one check that was a negative 3k. Now who can live off of that. I was a lease driver and had threatened to hand in my two weeks notice several times. But I was promised it was going to get better. It was always something I was going wrong never the company. For an example, I never seem to be calculating my gas miles properly no matter what changes I made. I even got an e-mail from the company stating I lost 2k for the month of November is gas. What kind of mess is that. Trans am does not care about there drivers, it is not in there best interest to make sure that they are happy at all. The only thing they care about is the money you make for them delivering the loan. Once they take there overhead off the top you bring home nothing. I have had approximately 4-5 negative checks. How do you drive 3300 miles and bring home a negative check? I had to acccept an advance from the company (which was offered to me) just to have money to pay my mortgage and the company takes their money back out of fututre checks. Who works 7 days a week straight and bring home no money? who works for a month straight to bring home no money? I never came home for Thanksgiving and received a paycheck of approx 179.00. I have spoken to many people at Trans Am. I spoke with the head of leasing (Jack) I spoke with the supervisor Penny I also spoke with the owner who assured me things was gonna change. I have finally had enough and put in my two weeks notice. The company routed me to the yard in olathe kansas, (because they had never given me my new decal for the New Year), (another problem) and Jack Green tried to persaude me to stay. Once I left the yard he called me and told me he would advance me 1000.00 if I would pull back my resignation (which I had to pay back). At this point my mind is made up. I can't support myself let alone a family off of what I get paid from Trans Am. This company has cut off my fuel card several times for no reason at all. When I was in training they boosed up the company to make it sound real good. But let me tell you something that sounds that good is normally too good to be true. This is just a breif synophisis of what I went through at Trans Am Trucking. There has be a labor law against this company.

My husband is a current owner/operator for Trans Am since 11/12 and was good at the beginning. But since January he has only made 258.00 and has driven over 5,000 miles... how can someone who drives that much not bring any money home?? and he worked the full 31 days in January!!! They told him the way to make the most money is to lease a truck which is what he did. Currently he is stuck in Kansas at a delivery and because the paper work was wrong they wont accept the delivery he has been sitting there since Saturday night!!! His cell phone is now off since we could not pay the bill due to no funds... so we have no way of contacting him. Last time I heard from him was Saturday night when he said dispatch in not answereing his messages.. We try to call the company and all they say is that they cant give us any information on where he is because he has to send 039 message. I dont know if they did because they still have not called us back and that was yesterday and one messge today... I dont have much confidence inthis company since they cant even tell me his wife where he is and if he is ok...
