I signed up for the free seven day trial. I cancelled before end of trial period. They have not removed my picture or profile. Supposedly, that is not believably, incredibly they continue to send notices from fake profiles claiming someone is interest in you.
TRUE CUPID & TRUE BEGINNINGS, ETC DOES NOT REMOVE PROFILE IF YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP, AND THE COMPANY CONTINUES TO SEND YOU NOTICES OF FAKE PROFILES THAT ARE SUPPOSEDLY INTERESTED IN YOU.
They also attempt to charge your account after you've cancelled.

Over Valentine's Day, 2008 and several other "special occasions", I get these GREAT e-mails from a place called e-Harmony.com promising me the PARTNER OF MY DREAMS.....
I decided to take the FREE PERSONALITY TEST that they give and it was rather nice but I don't think it would be any indication of a Happily ever After relationship...
I would rather have had them run a CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK and a VALID MARRIAGE check to see if the people were divorced and not just using the Internet to fool around cause people can be hurt that way.
Because YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE REALLY CORRESPONDING WITH ONLINE!
I took them up on the FREE offer and they SPAMMED my entire E-MAIL ACCOUNT FULL OF THESE FAKE PROFILES.
By using some logical deductions -- the first name and the employer, I was able to locate three of these people that were in my E-Mail and had been indicated as PERFECTLY COMPATIBLE FOR ME.
One was married and had no idea how I had got the e-mail address.
Another one was obscene and disrespectful and I am glad I had used a fake e-mail address because I might have found a serial killer or someone who wanted to be...
The third one had never even signed up for e-Harmony and didn't know what it was...
SO MUCH FOR E-HARMONY.COM.
I also signed up for Yahoo's service just to see what would happen although I didn't pay. I got the FREE service where they sent me the FAKE profiles and I had no way to respond.Good thing because most of these people looked like they were Jerry Springer guest rejects or out of the pages of a porn magazine. NOT FOR ME.
GOOD THING I DIDN'T PAY MONEY FOR ANY OF THIS NONSENSE BECAUSE I AVOIDED A RIP-OFF AND I THINK THAT PEOPLE SHOULD BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND NOT GET MIXED UP WITH THIS ONLINE DATING STUFF.
I DON'T DO ANY FINANCIAL BUSINESS ONLINE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM DEALING WITH.
AND WHEN IT COMES TO MATTERS OF THE HEART, I SURE AM GOING TO WANT TO KNOW WHO I AM DEALING WITH FOR THE SAME REASON,
I DO NOT WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.
