I am an employee of the company you are mentioning. The only charge you would see within your free 3 month trial is a pre-authorization charge of $2.01 which is used to see if your credit card is active, that way if you decide to keep the magazines after the 3 month trial, you will have a way to be billed. The pre-authorization process is very common, it is used the same way when you go to a gas station and put your credit card in at the pump..it pre-authorizes your card $1.00 to see if its active. The pre-authorizations always drop off your account within 24-48 hours and is not a real charge.

As far as not receiving the magazines, those do take 4-6 weeks to begin coming. You will always receive the 3 months though in all because even after you cancel they still send 1 or 2 more issues to you because the cancellation takes a while to get back to the publisher of that magazine. And as always, we always send out a reminder postcard 2 weeks prior to billing to give you the chance to cancel your trial. We have NEVER charged anyones account while in a free trial, not until that 3 month mark. I hope this helps!
