On October 21, I checked my online credit card statement to be sure my card had been paid for. And then I happened to look at the list of transactions; I hadn't used my card for several weeks yet there was one pending transaction. From TWX Magazines I had been charged $23.00 for an unlisted magazine subscription. This was impossible as I had just woken up and the listed Transaction Date was today, October 21. I went online to see if I could get any information on TWX and up popped the RipOff Report. There is a number listed to call them which I did but, was unable to cancel the subscription because I had none of the "criteria" needed to cancel the subscription (the automated teller said I could use home phone, billing statement, credit card number, or magazine title). My home phone number wasn't in their "system," my billing statement did not have the code they required, I was not going to give them my credit card information again and there was no magazine title listed on my account. Needless to say, I would like this transaction removed immediately!
