Taco Cabana Allows Sexual Predators to Remain Employees and Continue Harassing Female Coworkers and Offer Sign On Bonuses that they do not actually give out despite it being clearly informed upon hiring. San Antonio Texas

Myself and several others applied at the Taco Cabana on Wurzbach and Fredericksburg (Store#111) and were expected to have recieved 7.50/h which was the minimum that was advertised and offered on their signs outside that establishment as well as a Sign On bonus that at that time was worth about 400 dollars and we would be eligible to receive it in 4 months after employment.

During this time my girlfriend was sexually harassed and when we brought it to corporate attention their delayed response was to simply move him to another store in which case he still returned while she was working constantly. He even stalked her when he pulled up behind her after she had parked to pick me up. He only left upon perhaps realizing that I would take my leave and enter the car and we would continue home.

Aside from this matter we never (despite constant promises and calling Kathy or Mark Fischer employees in payroll) received said bonus even after having worked there for 6 months. Our schedules after and during the time we made issues known became ever so unstable to the point of us being taken off the schedule for 3 weeks before being put back on without any documentation to explain why for misbehavior or otherwise.

This forced us to seek employment elsewhere and left us with a feeling of disdain from our once safe and reasonable workplace. They work people for ridiculous hours regardless of how hard they work, rarely give breaks or allow you to so much as rest your feet for a few minutes and always insist breaks are always 30 minutes long, and that you clock out and they only occur as a method of reducing cost of labor during non peak time hours.

My fiance and I no longer work for this company nor ever hope to again do to the lack of respect that this company seems to have for it's employees. I sincerely hope that this reaches someone and helps them to avoid this type of establishment and horrible treatment/fraud.
