Well, what can I say? I was taken in by these slick fast talking snake oil dealing assholes and lost 4,000 dollars.
I signed up for an online money making program (something like 20 dollars was the price of the package) and a few days later I get a call from this company offering me one on one coaching on how to make money online/run an internet business. I thought this is alot better than trying to learn everything myself and going through the trial and error involved with that. I figured that I am dealing with professionals here and they will help me understand and implement things faster and save me time (and in the long term money). I really was dealing with professionals; professional scam artists!!
They asked for 4,000 dollars for their services and I was a little shocked at the price but then they started talking about how if I worked hard and was dedicated I would earn that money back. I figured they were right and I felt I was in good hands since these people knew all about the online money making world. Upon making the payment of 4,000 dollars I received a contract from them which stated that I have 3 days to cancel the account. Three whole days! Wow!! Has anyone ever heard of such an awesome deal?! I did some thinking in that time and I was convinced to stay with them. Why? Because the contract also stated that they guarantee that they will work with me until I earn back the initial investment.
What I did not consider at that time was what them working with me meant. As it turned out, them "working" with me included included a few 10 minute phone conversations a month about basic website creation/making money online information that I could have got online for free and communications by email involving them answering questions and giving me information that I could have got answered and found online for free. Add to that the ridiculous 40 dollars a month for their horrible "web builder" service when I could have gotten quality web hosting costing 5 - 10 dollars a month in most places, and I was in for it. They offered nothing substantial, nothing to really help in any way, and nothing remotely close to being worth the amount of money they took from me.
What these people do is exploit peoples hopes and fears; hopes that they can make a good living online, and fears that they don't know how to do it themselves and if they try to learn by themselves they might fail so they seek the services of a professional. And by exploiting these oh so human characteristics they get people to give them large sums of money and end up getting nothing in return (except information that you could have gotten for free on the internet!!!).
When I complained about all this to them, they of course had their reasons and excuses but at this point I was able to see right through it (a little to late tough).
I would also like to mention that this company has been complained about more than once on here. Just do a search for "tafiti consulting" and you'll see. Their PR department apparently did some 360 degree sugarcoating to try to fix their slightly tarnished image because of all of the complaints which you can see here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/377/RipOff0377324.htm
BUT DONT BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD OF IT AND DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND DO NOT EVER BECOME A CUSTOMER OF THEIRS BECAUSE THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM WHICH WILL LEAVE YOU WITH DEBT AND STRESS!!!!!
It's also worth mentioning that these scam artists operate under several different names. I will list all the ones I know so that hopefully people reading this aren't taken in by their tactics:
There are probably more but those are the ones I know. They also run the websites theshipper.com, wholesalematch.com, and ebizteacher.com. Stay away from these websites as well.
They are big scam artists and they exploit people for profit. Don't let it happen to you!
