After speaking with Mike and Kim on several occassions, some of the calls lasted way into the night, up until 11:00 p.m. for sure or at least this is my belief, and i am sure phone records will sho this....but of course, this was before the sale!. Both of them appeared so carring and down to earth and actually made me feel like i was family.
I even asked them if they would sale these chairs to their family members and they replied that their family members had these products. Mike assurred me that if any think went wrong with my chair that all i would have to do is bring it to him...i am only about 1 1/2 hours drive from the place where i bought it. Needless to say that every phone number that i call i receive a recording indicating that the number is blocked and each website that i try to reach them at no longer connects to their place of business, or at least this has been my experience.
i was going to buy a bed as well, but now that my chair has stopped working after only 2 1/2 -3 months of use, i will never purchase anything from them again. I have contacted our Attorney General here in Florida in hopes that they can assist me or guide me in how to receive recovery... I feel that this is consumer fraud. We also have a local News channel here and they goes out to places of businesses who are not treating their customers fairly and inquire as to why not.
i am going to contact this local news agency and see if they will go to Takemi Select, (if they can find them, and they haven't changed their name,) and investigate the company to see why they do not follow up on customer support and render the warranty for the products sold to all of the customers and address their complaints that are listed on this site. I would try and work with Mike but I can't even get in touch with this company.
So if any one else has phone numbers that i could use in an attempt to try and work something out with Mike i would appreciate it...in the meantime, i will be sending my concerns to the State's Attorney's Office and the local News station to see if they will get involved and help all of the customers whom have suffered what i believe to be consumer fraud. I need my chair repaired, replaced, or monies returned so i can purchase another chair because i have chronic pain and the chair did help when it worked.
Any and all statements made in this complaint are solely mine and my beliefs. i do have phone records of where i have tried tocontact the company with no success, i do have records of where i tried to access their web-sites without success and i do have a chair that does not work properly and at times smells like it is burning up. these are the factual events. and i have witnessed the local news agency investigating companies that do not treat their customers properly.
i am in no way trying to bring harm to Takemi Select co. nor am i threatening them but i would like for them to honor their warranty and make my chair right and if that entails bringing in outside help to protect my rights, then that is what i must do. I do not have $ 1500.00 to give them for a chair that Mike said the life expectancy is any where from 5 to 10 years and mine has failed within 3 months.
