I ordered a hand made bow string as a Christmas present from Tammy Jo's Archery Supplies on 12/17/2012. At that time, her website claimed that there would be a 7-14 business day wait for the order to be completed and shipped. The order total was $33.85.

On 01/02/2013, having not heard anything from Tammy Jo's since placing the order, I sent an email to inquire on my order's status. Tammy Jo's responded by referring me to the 7-14 business day waiting period, and enumerated the days that had passed since I ordered. Tammy Jo's then informed me that the order would be done and in the mail on Friday, January 4th 2013, or at the latest, Monday, January 7th 2013. We were also told that we would receive an email with the tracking information all within the time frame that the website guaranteed (and that they now guaranteed through email).

On 01/08/2013, I finally received an email with the tracking information-a day later than they guaranteed. We were glad it had finally shipped.....but....it didn't ship. The email simply confirmed that Tammy's Jo's had purchased a shipping label online. Three days passed and the tracking information showed that Tammy Jo's had still not physically given the package to the Post Office.

On 01/11/2013, I decided to send another email to inquire about why the tracking info still showed that it had not been taken to the Post Office. Tammy Jo's reply was that my order had just been finished.....(remember the guarantee that it would not only be finished, but in the mail by 01/07/2013?).  Just been finished? The email went on to say that they would get in the mail later today. Just for good measure, they threw in a nonchalant apology.

A month will have gone by before I receive my order. Well, IF I receive my order-that has still yet to be seen. Tammy Jo's made several guarantees and broke them without so much as an email to at least inform me of the delay. I had to chase them down for answers. Furthermore, Tammy Jo's has not offered to make this right in any way. My wallet is $33.85 lighter, and I've got nothing to show for it.

I will update this report if and when I do finally get my bowstring.

Update

AUTHOR: Tammy Jo's Archery - ()

Not only did he receive his order but he also received a free string and has made no attempt to update this post as promised nor a thank you for the freebie. I explained to him along with an apology that certain circumstances do come up in life that are out of ones control. I have been in the archery business for 15yrs, supplying 1000's of satisfied induviduals and some very large bow manufactures and this has been my 1st complaint so I do hope for an honest update here.
