I completed an application for general liability for a rental property. Tapco took the full premium on the credit card and then came back and said they would cancel the policy unless I provide them a letter stating what my tenant would and wouldn't be doing in the property. I refused to provide the letter and Tapco said they would cancel the policy. They cancelled the policy and kept almost half of my payment. They initiated the demand for a letter from me, which they doubtlessly use to deny a future claim. They initiated the cancellation. Then they keep the premium. What a scam this company is, they keep almost half the premium with accepting no liability.
I am probably better off for I have purchased another policy thorugh another company and even thought i was ripped off by Tapco, at least I hope to be with a more reputable company now.
Take my advice, don't let any agent sell you anything through TAPCO.
