I joined this company as an Independent Contractor (they'll be the first to remind you that you aren't an employee) in March 2010. When I started working with them, I loved it. Everyone was very nice and I had an almost instant bond (or so I thought) with Nyla.
I was paid, like clock-work, every Sunday morning through (((Redacted))).
Unfortunately, when I started making more money, I started getting paid less often. I was originally asked if it was ok, then it became assumed that it was alright. I should have known then that there was an issue, but instead, I defended them to the other girls who weren't getting paid because I KNEW the people behind TARA Consulting were good people who felt guilty about not paying us right away and they'd do what they could as soon as they could.
Well, I left my IC position with them at the beginning of September and although they still owe me more money than I want to admit to myself, I've seen only one payment of $150.00.
I've emailed several times, my husband has emailed, and we get no response. I'd be happy with any kind of acknowledgement but so far, absolutely nothing.
Girls who are contemplating signing a contract with Tara Consulting, all I can say is, don't. They seem like nice, lovely, wonderful people, but the fact of the matter is... they don't care and if they don't release you from your contract first, you'll end up not getting the money you worked so hard for.
Just remember... the guys pay TARA for every call (yes, sometimes cards decline but more often than not, the guys pay for each call).. why shouldn't the girls get paid also?
