I'm not unreasonable & this is not my 1st tat I agreed with them, so we came up with a $300 price adjustment I paid them $300 & we continued with the 3rd session. I go back for my forth session & the owner has the nerve to tell me I need to start paying by session because my tattoo was costing them money. They quoted the tat at $600. I was nice enough to pay $300 more. That's $900 for a 3/4 sleeve not completely filled in so far & I'm about half way done!
Keep in mind in 12 months I've spent $1600 on tats for myself,$1000 on my wife's tats & piercings + my brother-in-law has spent $2000.( and that's not including tips ) I work in the service industry & that's not how you do business, especially with a tattoo that's somebody's body part, in my case from bicep to wrist 3/4 of my arm.
So beware if buy a tattoo from "Tattoo Blue's" they might hold you hostage with it & have you singing the Blues to. ( no pun intended )

After getting the outline and half of the sleeve colored, he started ducking me and not coming into work, not calling me back etc. I paid in full except for $125.00, which was left. Since I wasn't getting a response or a call back, I finally went to the shop.
I was told by Eddie that I had to pay $100.00 dollars a hour to complete my sleeve. I explained to him I was told the price of the tattoo by Chiko and he said he didn't care. He said he was the owner and the only way he is doing anything else is if I paid.
During the conversation Chiko never defended me, he just continued tattooing someone else. I kept letting Chiko know I wanted to speak to him and he told me when he finished the customer's tattoo.
When he was finished we went outside and he apologized and told me he doesn't understand why there was an issue when Eddie already agreed on the price I was paying. Chiko said he would talk to Eddie and see exactly what I had to pay for the job to be completed.
Chiko called me a few days later and told me that he could finish it for $500.00. I finally decided to pay another $500.00 because I wanted the same artist to complete it. I went in and had the sleeve colored. I was told by Chiko to let my arm heal for 2 to 3 weeks and come back for free touch up, which there was a lot to finish.
I called Chiko 2 1/2 weeks later and he told me to come in that following Tuesday, but he wanted to run it by the boss first. He told me he would call me back that night to confirm Tuesday's appointment. He never called me.
I waited until Tuesday, since that was the day I was suppose to go in. Chiko never came to work and I tried contacting him twice. I then called on Wednesday and Eddie told me Chiko was doing a tattoo and he would have him call me back.
Being that I was in the shop for my tattoo, I know Chiko will take a phone call while tattooing someone. I never received that call either. I still have an unfinished arm that I paid in full for. The shop and tattoo artist want to claim the job is completed, but it is far from that. They are very unprofessional and a rip off. I will never give them my business again or refer anyone to them because what they did was wrong.
They locked me into a tattoo and when it was almost paid for they refused to finish it because they wanted more money. Now I still have an incomplete tattoo and I am out of $1,625.00. This is just disgusting, but I hope this reached some customers and they decide not to go to that shop. Maybe I will save some people from getting lied to and ripped off. This is definitely not how to run a business and I was just a customer. Because Chiko gave me the price and obviously there were issues, it should fall on Chiko and not me.
