Tax Relief Association took money, service not rendered ripoff Brea California

Contaced TRA at the end of Feb. Was told on phone by Ruben Torres that they would take care of everything and would not have to worry anymore. I initially gave them $4200. Right from the beginning, they did not seem to move fast. After several weeks of not hearing anything, I called and they said they needed some information from me.

Eventually I was told that Ruben was no longer there and Ernesto Aguayo was handling my account. I wanted to also have them look into my State taxes so I paid another $800 dollars.

One of the accounts working on my taxes was John Crowe. But then before finishing, he vanished. Then lastly, Pete bulsombut took over my account. My last correspondence with him said that he going to finished the next day.

Called the next week and no answer. The 800 number I use to call answers as National Tax. A woman answered one time. I asked her about tax relief assoc. She said they closed doors and file bankruptcy. She said that she works for National and they use to do back office work for TRA. This sounded fishy so I kept asking questions.

Finally asked her who her boss was. Did not catch name but was told that he was out of town in Florida.

She also mentioned that her company - National Tax - was going to be moving to Florida.

I was able to look up Pete's name in the phone book and called him. He told me that he was suddenly let go. His boss was Robert Parker. He told me that Robert travelled back and forth from Florida often.
