I was looking for a tax preparer last season, and found out about Taxamize Accounting. I saw an advertisement from an "independent franchise" and I went to the location address advertised. When I arrived, I found only a Kroger's store. I almost left but I decided to go inside to ask about the tax service to see if the store manager knew anything about this company. When I arrived inside of the grocery store, I encountered the tax preparer inside the store at a table preparing taxes for people. I then found out that the company was under contract with the Kroger's store. My problem was that I had to enter the store to find out that this was the right location. While the tax service itself was handled to my satisfaction, Taxamize headquarters should make sure that these "independent franchises" properly indicate when they are processing taxes inside of other locations. This can be very confusing, and can frustrate people looking for these on-site preparers.

So you are basically saying that you had a great experience with the company but you was upset that they were operating inside of Kroger? The manager of Kroger told you that they were contracted to do so right? Have you been inside of Walmart and did you see that Jackson Hewitt is contracted to operate there as well? Most businesses you currently shop at are independently owned franchises.
