Becky Bice and her partners are breeding and selling dogs under false pretense, she is selling what she TEACUP Chihuahua and the AKC clearly states there is NO such dog. A Chihuahua is 2 to 6 lbs the AKC does not endorse or allow the labeling of any CHihuahua as Tiny, Toy, Itsy or TEACUP.

She is also claiming to show photos of ADULT breeding dogs and clearly these photos are ALL of puppies. ANY vet or breeder can show you the eye set alone on these dogs proves the photos to be of dogs between the ages of 2 to 6 months of age. She is claiming them as adults to show size, when they are still clearly growing puppies and will in most cases double in size.

She also boosts that she sells to people such as Paris Hilton, and Jessica Simpson.

She may have given these dogs to these people to promote her SHAM operation, but did not sell these dogs. Tinkerbell, Paris Hiltons dog is not a Teacup either it is a standard 3 lb Chihuahua.
The follow is what all breed clubs have stated on selling dogs deemed as TEACUP.
*******************************
There are NO Teacup Chihuahuas!!!

The Chihuahua is a Chihuahua

The Official breed standards of all registries lists the Chihuahua as a small dog that comes in two varieties or coat types.
The difference in coat type (the Long Coat and the Smooth Coat)is the only official description used to identify a difference within this breed.
Our standards do not categorize the Chihuahua by size.

For the purpose of showing and record keeping, the registries include the Chihuahua in the Toy Group.

Therefore, irrespective of their weight or physical stature ALL Chihuahuas registered with any registry are considered to be a toy breed of dog.

As with all living things, there will be size variance between individual dogs within this breed.Look within the human family - brothers and sisters will differ in height and in weight, as well as other physical attributes. They are described as humans, male or female, and there is seldom if ever a need to break the description down further.

The same holds true in regard to the Chihuahua; they are Chihuahuas - Long Coat / Smooth Coat!

Unfortunately, the additional adjectives used to describe the size differences and physical appearances are many and have been misused for so long they now seem legitimate.

Teacup, Pocket Size, Tiny Toy, Miniature, Rare or Standard - are just a few of the many tags and labels that have been attached to this breed over the years.

The Chihuahuas of Michigan Club is concerned that these terms may be used to entice prospective buyers into thinking that puppies described in this way are of greater monetary value. They are NOT and the use of these terms is incorrect and misleading.Occasionally, within a litter, there may be a puppy that is unusually small.

That puppy is a small Chihuahua and any other breakdown in description is not correct.

To attach any of these additional labels to a particular puppy is to misrepresent that Chihuahua as something that is rare and causes a great deal of confusion among those new fanciers who are looking for a Chihuahua.

The Chihuahuas of Michigan Club does not endorse nor condone the use of any of these terms and would caution the perspective puppy buyer not to be misled by them.

We recognize that many Chihuahua fanciers do want the very small puppy.
While they are adorable, the buyer should be cautioned as to the extra care that may be required with regard to their general health and well-being.Also be advised of a very high Mortality rates on these so-called "TEACUPS"

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CHIHUAHUA'S FROM SOMEONE CLAIMING ANY OF THE TERMS ABOVE.

PAYING $1,000.00 OR MORE FOR A SO-CALLED RARE CHIHUAHUA DOES NOT MAKE YOU or YOUR DOG SPECIAL.
******************
Please before buying any Chihuahua read about the health issues of dogs bred down to be under 2 lbs and called TEACUP.

As a rescue we have taken many animals from people who thought they bought a TEACUP and it ended up 9 lbs or it was a very small CHihuahua and had such health issues the owners could not afford treatment.

Calls also come in 5 or more a month from people crying they just lost a 3 yr old Tiny Chihuahu to heart and liver conditions.

A Chihuahuas life span if properly bred and cared for is 20 yrs.
