First of all Quality Product, But poor Business Model.
When I purchased the product on March 19th I paid 309.23.
Then on 4/21 I get a charge of 31.40 and 38.87
5/20 6/19 7/21 8/18 9/17 10/17 I get charges of 28.78 or 23.71 alternating months
7/21 and 10/20 I get charges of 38.87.
Mind you I don't look at my CC Statements very often and they usually go in the file unopened and the CC payment is automatic.
So I inquire about these charges I look on my credit card statement and there is no Phone Number just a WWW.TBBINFO.COM in the details that you have to go online to get.
Allegedly they were sending emails to remind of the payments, I have not recieved even an initial email with a confirmation receipt, which I thought to be shady.
Is what is also jacked up is the 38.87 is a weekly 2.99 online support group that you get your first month free and then you guessed it, now a quarterly charge. How can you charge someone for web access when they have never loged on to start the service?
The 23.71 and the 28.78 was an alternating monthly fee for them sending me supplements. OK there were supplements in the initial workout box, but you get so many "free offers" in the phone conversation from the TV infomercial how in the hell are you to know that they will send supplements once a month.
Add to the mix I moved, so I had no idea supplements were being sent in the mail, UPS or somehow, and they haven't been returned so I must be using them! Yes, well send the guy who lives in my old apartment a bill then. Every one of my other monthly services notified me when I changed the zip code on my AMEX to the new address. Not this company.
Even two days ago I was charged the 38.87 for the quarterly online access fee. now that I've canceled after the payment hit my credit card I am not authorized to set up an account or use their services for which I have already paid, and they won't refund the money that was to go for the next three months.
I asked them what my recourse was, they specified to call my Credit Card Company regarding the charges. I was told On their end the Charges are valid and the Credit Card Company probably won't do anything.
So after figuring this out, I'm screwed and they got $300 of my cash for doing and providing nothing
So whats next I buy a dvd at an electronics store and I am auto-enrolled in a movie lovers club for 2.99/wk charged conveiniently to my credit card.
