Techondigital they mysteriously cancelled my order when I wouldn't buy expensive accessories Internet internet

I ordered a Garmin 265WT from this company after researching for the best price online. They definitely had the lowest price, but.... I thought it was strange that I had to call to confirm my order, but did so anyway. The "slick Rick" sales guy was pushing a 2GB memory card that he said I would have to use to avoid having to send my GPS back to Garmin each year for map upgrades at $79/upgrade plus shipping. When I said no thanks, he lowered the price of the memory card from $199 to $99 to try to get me to take the bait. I refused again and he quickly said thanks and hung up. I immediately got an email from them that said:

Dear:XXX,

We thank you for your order and appreciate you shopping with us .

Due to the product you ordered being out of stock for 6-8 weeks from today's date. We regret to inform you that the order is canceled due to the product being on backorder. when or if we get the product again in stock soon will send you an email to place an order please do not resubmit your order again . sorry again and thanks for your understanding .

I am glad I came across the rip off report site to find out that I could have been a major victim!
