In March 06 I received a call from a vaction company claiming I'm entitled to a 21 free trial of some stuff I'm still not sure of but it said "vacation" and "free". I agreed to the service and was told I will recieve a brochure in the mail and can cancel it before the 21 days was up for no charge. But if I continued to use it I would be charged a fee of 49.95 a month.

So I recieved the brochure in the mail and immediately called the number that was printed on the brochure it read "to cancel call this number". So I called the number and canceled. All was fine till 3 months down the road I opened a bank statement and scanned it to notice a fee being charge by a company i never heard of. I called the number on the check and after 20min on hold i was hung up on then I called back and waited on hold for seriously another 15min.

I then spoke with Billie XXXXX who told me they have been billing me for 3 months now. Still not knowing who this company was she explained to me that a possibly a vacation company had called us. They then played back our recorded conversation I had with the original representative and remebered it and told her that I had cancelled that. She stated that not only did you have to cancel the vacation company but also Teliflex which there was nothing stated on the brochure to do so.

After talking to her for atleast 20min and requesting numerous times to talk to someone higher up then her (which she would not allow) she told me I could possibly get a 30 day money back but none for the 2 months before that if i requested it in writing to the company. I also requested to cancel my account with Teliflex she would tell me it was already cancelled I then repeated "so my account is cancelled"? She said "yes the vacation company is cancelled"(sorry i cant remeber what the company was called) I explained to her I wanted this Teliflex acount canceled she again tells me it was cancelled. And I said "ok so this Teliflex acount is cancelled?" She said "yes mam the Vacation pkg is cancelled".

This went on for about 4min till she finally said she would cancel Teliflex for me with the cancellation number of B06TF2W3 .But the first initial conversation I had with the representative to recieve this 21 free trial she spoke nothing of canceling 2 seperate accounts nor did the brochure they sent. BUt after hearing the initial phone conversation that was recorded I did hear a sentance saying "and for this you recieve a free trial of Teliflex that is a blah blah blah...but nothing about you will be billed after the free trial.

I am very disturbed to know that I was being billed for 3 months for a service I never used and on a paycheck-to-paycheck income. Needless to say I have reported them to better business bureau and hope they can get this matter resolved. I will be calling them in the morning and request to speak to someone higher up and if that still isn't resolved I will then ask to speak to another person above them till I get my 150$ back.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about ?consumer confidence? when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
