Owner/Operators please be extremely careful before you buy a lease/purchase truck from Tennessee Steel Haulers, or trade the truck you may already have to them. They will tell you all the wonderful things you want to hear about having a warrenty and about how much money you will make, they will even give you the phone numbers of couple of drivers who have purchased a truck, but when you do talk to the driver make sure you ask him how long he has been in the truck, I bet it wont be any longer than a month or two. Because after that, you will be lucky to clear 100.00 a week. You will be extremely lucky to not be in the hole for a couple thousand a week. As far as the warranty , forget it, so far out of the drivers I have talked to , no one can report any repair covered by this so called warrenty, one driver has been in one just barely a year and has had 7 break downs/ 3 tow bills averaging around $600 or more each , and if you are looking for tennessee steel to help you with this , forget it you are responsible for every penny. Be especially careful of the internationals!! I personally know two familys who have just about lost everything they own, and one is now on the verge of being evicted, his ederly parents on social security trying to pay their water and electric bills just so they can live. As far as seeing your family you will be lucky if you get to see them once in 6 months, my daughter has not seen her husband since new years. He was not even home on thanksgiving or christmas. If anyone out there has any similar story please post , or if you have any advice for these poor families please also post, it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and no need to complain to anyone at Tennesse Steel Haulers , because all they will tell you is well just turn your truck in then, we dont care if you stay or not, because we can resell that hunk a junk to another sucker!!
