I found a vehicle I wanted on Ebay through Texas Direct Auto, I called and got the information I needed and it sounded great. They needed the deposit over the phone and not through paypal which is what I am used to. But I figured it was a dealer so it would be ok. I gave them the deposit and they closed the auction so it was no longer through ebay,(which they weren't supposed to do).
I told them that I had my own financing before I gave them the deposit and they said that was fine, after I gave the deposit they said that the Capital One I was using wouldn't work and I had to apply through them to use their Capital One. I did their application and it came back at a much higher interest rate than what I had already been approved for. When I told them that would not be acceptable they said too bad and they were keeping my deposit.
When I had given the deposit it was under the understanding that I had my own financing. I was told to not call back never to do business with them again and they were keeping my money, then they hung up on me. I did a carfax on the vehicle we were looking at and there were several unmentioned items that were not listed in the auction.
Then I looked on rippoffreports.com and it got me thinking if this had happend to so many other people what were their vehicles really like. So being that I bought the unlimited Carfax reports I ran reports on several of their other vehicles. They had flood damage, accidents and all sorts of mechanical problems that they were not listing in their auctions.
This company was kicked out of the BBB in 2006 and is a total fraud. They are impossible to get in touch with by phone, you get voice mail after voice mail. Their sales staff is anything but professional and down right Rude! I am filing a police report, a report on here, another with the BBB and also I have turned them into Ebay as a fraudulent seller. I hope something I do will somewhat stop them from ripping off other people.

I had to file a dispute through my credit card company to get my money back. It went through a dispute and a few other things but the credit card company investigation came out that they were in the WRONG!!! and I finally got my money back... That company should be shut down for bad business practices.

I filed complaints with the Houston BBB and the Houston Attorney General. Maybe if enough people know about this companies practices they will shape up or ship out!
