I purchased mobile home insurance from Texas Fair Plain in March 2013. In April they came out to inspect the home. I completely gutted the home and was in the midst of remodeling it. I have one set of steps on the house (back door) and it has hand rails. The inspector took pictures of the outside of the house and roof. We had just resealed the roof a few days before. I was actually sitting on the steps when the inspector came out (he used our ladder to look at the roof). I actually told him we were in the middle of remodel. He made no comments about repairs being required. I have completely gutted this house and spent 30k on it (not including the purchase price of the home itself) in just over 5 months. I have not yet built the deck for the front of the home. Only using the back door right now. I was not in a huge hurry since i was worried about the inside and actually completly being able to move in. [continued below]....
