Texas Tickets is a ticket broker that buys the worse seats in the theater for performances such as Texas Ballet Theater's "The Nutcracker" and resells them at hugely inflated prices, touting them as "premium seats". Tickets that are priced by Texas Ballet Theater at $19 because of their poor view are bought by Texas Tickets and re-sold on Texastickets.com for as much as $85. When the ticket holder goes to the box office to complain about the fact that they paid premium prices and got terrible seats they are told by the box office staff that they can do nothing about it because the ticket was actually purchased by Scott Baima at Texas Tickets and resold to them at a much higher price.

Scott Baima and Texas Tickets are ripping people off. While they may be up front about telling you that they are re-selling the tickets for more than their face value, they advertise that they are selling premium seats that are difficult to obtain. In the case of Texas Ballet Theater tickets that is simply not true. The seats that they are selling for Texas Ballet Theater performances are the least desirable seats in the theater and are readily available directly from the ballet company at a very affordable price.
