We went to stay at a resort owned and operated by  RCI and The Berkely Group in March in Weston, Fl.

When we registered, we were told that we were to be given a "complimentary breakfast or dinner" at the resort. All we had to do was leave a $20 cash deposit with the company --- which would be reurned to us as the breakfast. We did.

But when we arrived for our "breakfast" we were suddenly told that we had to take a tour. We respectfully declined, telling the person that under no circumstance --- not in this lifetime --- would we ever, ever again invest in an RCI property.

We said we wanted our money back, but he said he couldn't give it back. That we would have to go back to registration to get it!!!!!!!!!

So, basically, they lied to get us to this breakfast --- which turned out to really be a sales presentation.

When we went back to registration we were told we'd have to fill out forms online  to get our money. How CONvenient! They take $20 cash, but when we want a refund they can't even issue it and have to write someone else for that.

When we returned home in March my wife immediately filled out the form.

We heard nothing.

She called the company.

We heard nothing.

She called the company again and we referred to someone else.

We heard nothing.

We called again and were referred to another number.

We heard nothing.

This went on for 2 months!!!

My wife finally talked to someone on May 17th who assured her that the check would be put in the mail on the 18th.

Finally, on May 28th, the letter comes --- and it was certified mail!!!! After all this, they made us make another trip to the post office to get this check.

Then guess what happened. . . .

THEY MADE THE CHECK OUT TO THE WRONG PERSON!!!!

That's right. My wife's name is "Krista" and they made the check out to "Krystal."

All I can hope for the sake of these morons is that the bank accepts this check BECAUSE we are not going to spend another 2 months tring to get out $20 back.

I hope all this bad publicity is worth the $20 you tried to save your company.
