The Berman Investment Group ripoff Irvine California

I went throught a simular process as each of the others. I was able to get someone on the line (877-237-6265) quickly (Andrew), who had such a thick accent that I spent most of the call asking him to speak slower and repeat what he was saying. I went through the same run-around of a $10 all the way through an $85 discount. I was put on hold while their computer generated a return code, which I was told had to be printed on the return envelope and then was put on hold while the computer generated a return address. I am still wondering why the computer has to generate a return address. The address the computer "generated" was:

I also was suggested that the merchandise be returned in a padded envelope and insurance in the amount of $100. I was also told by Andrew that it didn't make since to spend more than $15 to send it back when I could pay them $15 to keep it. I told Andrew I would pay $100 to send it back just to be done with it.

I immediately went to the post office to arrange the return of the item. I was helped by a very friendly person who explained that I could send via Media Mail since they were CD-Roms and this cost me $1.84 plus $1.69 for the padded envelope plus $1.80 for signature confirmation plus $2.20 for $100 in insurance for a total of $7.53, which is about 1/2 of what it would have cost me to keep them and if you add in the $3.95 shipping and handling I am just under $12.00 for a lesson WELL learned.

Now I just need to wait and see if my credit card gets charged.
