 I contacted Rebecca Howell of The Berry Company her email is rebecca.howell@theberrycompany.com if you like to email her with complaints. She is located in Dayton, OH Or send your complaints directly to the senior peralegal Dennis McCarthy at  Dennis.mccarthy@theberrycompany.com  He is an impossible person to find unless you have an attorney that will share the info like I have.

If your a good attorney and want to sue them after reading this go ahead and contact me. My attorney now is pretty much worthless and not agressive enough.

She sold me a custom website specifically for my business. SHe spent 20 minutes on the phone telling me how great the website would be and how the SEO program works. She sold me a custom designed website, an I would own the domain name and all. SHe told me an account manager would contact me to get very detailed information about my business, how my business works, what my buisness does and my target market and so on.

A few weeks went by and I was never contacted by anyone at all from Berry. Not one person called me or emailed or anything. I never received any paperwork in the mail, nothing. Than one day I got a call. I was told by an account manager that they would send me a copy of the new website they designed. Now how can a company design a website for someone without even asking them what the business is or does?

I said OK and he didnt send anything. SO I called a few days later, and reminded this guy to send the email. I looked over this junky website they built. Actually it was a template that I have seen before, somone else has the same website. I looked it over real good and It was absolutly horrible. They built me a plumbing website and IM NOT A PLUMBER, i just have the word plumbing in my email address because I work in the plumbing industry.

I started sending emails because I was scared at this point. I specifcally directly sent the account manager an email and told them not to publish this website and that I fully do not approve this website. I sent the SEO department an email and told them the problem and specifically tolf them to halt any and all work on the seo process, website, and my local listings like yahoo business listings. I didgitally recorded a few conversations where I directly told a live person not to publish the website and that I do not approve anything they are doing.

Than I got an email from a different department asking me to approve a video.  I replied and specifically told them that I do not approve the video, the video falsly advertises my buisness and I do not like the video, do not publish the video. A few days later I got an email asking me to approve the same exact video and a note that stated IF YOU DONT APPROVE THIS VIDEO we will publish the video without your permission. Now what is that?

SO a few weeks went by and I was looking at my local listings yahoo and google and a I clicked on one and this website pops up full blown. I absolutly could not believe that they published this website without my approval with my name contact info and the whole nine yards. 

I started calling them emailing them and they completely refused to take the website off the internet. I had to call an attorney in Dayton, OH I paid the attorney and they ignored him for 2 weeks. Finally they took it off the internet. Its been 2 months now and not one person has contacted me to fix the website, make a new one, or anything.

They send me a bill each month for $311.41 which is more than I was quoted to begin with. I have not paid a dime. I got another bill on 10/28/2013 for $1259.72

My attorney contacted Dennis McCarthy Dennis.mccarthy@theberrycompany.com he is the senior peralegal for the Berry Company. Dennis McCarthy sent my attorney an email that states the website has been taken down and all billing is stopped. I have a copy of the email and the Berry Company attorney and direct contact information in Englewood, CO I have the email he sent my attorney.  It is dated 8/4/2013 which is when they should have stopped billing. Actually they should have never started billing in the first place. They are still billing me for service they are not providing. I and my attorney have both contacted Berry about this and they just ignore us. I have logged 195 collection calls from The Berry Company since October 4, 2013 @1:55 p.m. and October 29,2013 @5:20 a.m.   No joke  90% of the calls are in the middle of the night. They wake me up every night and the berry collectors call none stop one after the other as many as 20 calls at a time in the middle of the night and than call 2 or 3 times during the day. If you answer the phone to tell them to fuckoff they don't say anything but they will leave a message on voicemail, saying somthing about Berry, It dosnt make any sense.

So since I cant get in touch with anyone at Berry that will actually take care of the problem, I have started calling the Berry head legal person located in the corporate part of Berry in Englewood, CO  I call him as many times as the Berry Collectors call me and leave him long voicmails to the point that his mailbox fills up, than after an hour he checks them and clears the vicemail and I call again, I fax them over and over and over and send emails over and over and over just like they do when they call me trying to collect money that I dont actually owe them. I started this method today.

I will find a way to get the executives contact and I will blow there phones up until they stop harassing me.I encurage you to do the same and when I find this hard to get info I will post it for you so you can also bombard them with calls until they give you the service that you pay for.

 Ill see you in court. Thanks for your admissions. I will forward this to my attorney that specializes in consumer rippoffs and dealing With deadbeat ripoff companys like The Berry Company.

I have not forgot all of you that have complaints about Berry. I will continue to locate the executives for you. In the mean time DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU EVEN CONTACT BERRY ABOUT A WEBSITE OR SERVICES. The ceo is on the board of 30 plus other companys. So you think he spends much time with Berry or even shows up to meeting more than once a year, probly not, I wouldnt invest in them thats for sure.

Berry Company is a deadbeat company and I would seriously look at alternatives for advertising providers before you ever make a call to berry or answer the phone and deal with one of the deabeat sales people from Berry. 

READ THE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE ABOUT THE BERRY COMPANY.   OVER 387 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BERRY COMPANY ON THE   BBB   ALONE PLUS HUNDREDS AND HUNREDS MORE TOTAL ON OTHER WEBSITES.

NOW DO YOU THINK THE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE LIERS ABOUT THE COMPLAINTS AND TERRIBLE SERVICE BY BERRY, OR DO YOU THINK THAT THEIR COULD BE A SMALL POSSIBLILITY THAT BERRY HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS INSIDE THE WALLS OF THE COMPANY, AND  COULD HAVE A PERSON THAT DOES NOTHING BUT RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS AND WILL SAY ANYTHING TO FIX A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE BERRY COMPANY IN ORDER TO SATISFY POSSIBLE INVESTORS AND PERSONS WITH REAL FINACIALS AT STAKE OR JUST TO CALM THE WATERS IN ORDER TO MAKE A SALE.

GO TO GLASSDOOR.COM  THE BERRY COMPANY HAS THER OWN EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE COMPLAINTS AND CONFIRM A TON OF COMPLIANTS AGANST BERRY FROM INSIDE THE COMPANY.    DO NOT BUY ADVERTISING FROM BERRY UNLESS YOU HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO ALTERNATIVE. (FOR EXAMPLE  WINDSTREAM ONLY USES BERRY TO LIST BUSINESS IN THE YELLOW PAGES)

BUT REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF GOOD COMPANYS THAT BUILD AND HOST SERIOUS GOOD WEBSITES AT A RESONABLE RATE AND OFFER REAL GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.  SO SHOP AROUND.  WE SEE THE BERRY COMPANY IN THE GUTTER WHEN PEOPLE STOP USING THE YELLOW PAGES COMPLETELY. ITS ON THE WAY.

It's our goal to provide the highest level of products and services to the over 140,000+ small businesses that we work with each year. Unfortunately we did not meet your expectations with the advertising that was created for Quality Service and have since taken down your website as we agreed upon. We apologize for the billing error that was inadvertently made which resulted in your account being sent to collections. We have corrected the issue and no collection calls have been made to you or your business by Berry or our collection agency since October 23. All collection calls originating from Berry and our agency occurred between the hours of 9am and 6pm with a total of 19 calls made. Additionally, your account was adjusted on October 30 per our correspondence with your attorney. We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused and can ensure you that steps have been taken to prevent similar errors from occurring in the future.
