Corporate Advocacy Program™
We have email back and forth with me prvoiding him with business and professions code letting him know that that is illegal. Wether the typo was intentional or not he had to honor that sale price. Mr. Flores still refusesto honor the sale and is now threating me with legal action. Business an Professons code section 17500-17509 otherwise known as the bait and switch law is there for a reason.
To protect consumers like us. This is not right nor shuld any company get away with this. I will/have file complaints with Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, Rippoff Report, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commision and any other agency that handles issues like this. If a company does this to you, you should do this as well. Lets stop Bait and Switch practicing.

THERE WAS NO BAIT & SWITCH, this person was looking for a freebie
AUTHOR: Bestdamntickets.net - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 15, 2008
POSTED: Wednesday, October 15, 2008There was no bait & switch because we never tried to get her to pay more, we simply apologized for the mistake and canceled the order. Furthermore, a person who can only afford $4 tickets is not in our target demographic as a customer, so it would be absurd to ask a person with limited financial means to pay for $200 tickets instead.
When the customer called we explained the situation, apologized for any inconvenience and the customer appeared to accept our apology, we hung up and went about our business. This was a honest mistake and we are under no obligation to honor a order which would cause us to lose hundreds of dollars. The cheapest seat for this particular concert is almost $200 each. We are willing to lose a little bit of money to keep a customer happy, but this was ridiculous. It also states clearly on our checkout screen: "A return e-mail, which states that your credit card has been charged for your order, serves as acceptance of your offer to purchase tickets." Their credit card was never charged, therefore the order is null and void....simple as that. Again we apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we simply cannot afford to take a loss like this to fill a order.
***THIS PERSON ALSO FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB WHO RULED IN OUR FAVOR.***
All this over $4 tickets....unbelievable.
