I've only used one body shop previous to the Kings Auto Mall Body Shop, but I must say...I did not experience any of the poor business practices that I experienced with the Kings Auto Mall Body Shop.  My experience may have just been an exception to the rule...but I highly doubt it.  Through my experience with this shop, I was lied to (they said they did not give out loner cars when they in fact do), my car completion date was delayed 5-6 times...all of which I was never notified of until I called in...yes, all 6 times including the loner car that they finally gave me after the 4th delay I believe it was.  To me this is extremely unprofessional...if they can't manage to update customers with such essential information, do you really trust them with your car?  Once I got my car back, they had let the battery die so I had to buy a new $130 battery.  (Possibly more unprofessional business practice in play here). [continued below]....

.....  Then when I got home, I noticed multiple new scratches on my car...as evident by the before and after pictures of my car.  They denied responsibility and now I am in the process of either needing to sue them or have them comply on their own will.  (very unethical).  In addition, when I was on my way home from their shop, my radio was reset and needed a code that they failed to care to even mention to me of fix.  Remember that this is a body shop...they should never have even messed with my battery to begin with...and in addition, they should have properly maintained the car so that my battery would not become useless. 

This shop gave me the run around, took them 4 times longer to repair my car than originally stated, and they pushed back the completion date 5-6 times without ever giving me a call/notice or even a reason as to why the completion date was delayed so often.  I was never given call backs when I requested them, and was literally never given a call by anyone...ever.

In my opinion, I should have received a call from them to on 9 different occasions.  One when I called them to confirm they had my car...they said they would call me back but never did.  6 times for the delays that they should have let me know about.  Another time I called in and they offered me a loner car and that they would call me about it when it came in...they never called.  And lastly to let me know that the car was completed. 

They did not call me once for any of these things.

I hope that this review helps someone avoid the poor repair service, poor customer service, poor professionalism, and poor ethics that this business practices.  I am frankly shocked that they are still in business.  However, they reside in the middle of an auto mall where there are literally over 15 dealers...and I believe they all tend to use this shop for their repairs.  I think this explains why they are still in business.
