The Center for Special Needs Trust Admin, Inc. is currently a "non-profit" organization, however the same man that owns The Center also owns "Boston Asset Management" and "Boston Finance Group" along with various other companies that financially feed one another. The owner has bi-polar disorder and literally in the twelve months I have worked for this company, the company has "re-organized" the company policy six times. The "proceedure" changes every other week because they make rules up as they go AND the turn over rate is UNBELIEVABLE! In the short twelve months I have worked for this organization, they have fired two GROUPS of people. (yes, I said groups) they have NO training program and expect you to basically sink or swim. The first mistake you make, there is no couseling or warning, your fired instantly.  The owner has no filter in his mouth and speaks to the employees like their dogs, literally. During a meeting I attended, he said very bluntly "good luck finding a job in this economy, you should be greatful I have employed everyone in this room (which was the whole comp.) if you want to try to find a job out there, goodluck! But until then, you should thank me for your job" Being a very intelligent college graduate I couldn't believe what I witnessed during this meeting!  The owner is also very open about his beliefs that women should not work in this industry.
If you get an interview with this organization, from experience, run like hell! They will present the compqany as being this wonderful non-profit that helps disabled people and you can make a TON of money in the sales department. That is the biggest lie you will ever be told. They "present" a lie!
This company takes the money of the disabled, people who have bi-polar diorder along with other mental health disorders and charge them CRAZY fees. $2,500 just to "start up" the account. 2% annual fee and what they DONT tell you is that they invest that money as well by Boston Asset Management (who is owned by the same person) and they charge the trust to invest (even when they lose money, which is often) they ALSO wont tell you that they charge to "review the taxes" halfway through the year AS WELL AS an additional charge for filling taxes. The fees on these trust's are lterally rediculous!!!! It's wrong and I truly dont understand how someone can own so many companys that all feed off of one another and charge the trusts for there services. Also, the same employees work in different departments.
So not only is there no training program, the owner has ADHD and bi polar disorder, no HR department and no clear person you report too, the employees have to change offices every three months. Big large moving projects that really have no purpose.
As a current employee currently in good standing, I have no reason to make false accusations. My purpose for this insight is to educate the public on exactly what this organization is about. I have sat back and watched them fire so many good, hard working people simply because they dont like them. No warning, no correction or cousel just "YOUR FIRED"! People that have been there years and some as little as a month. They dont train the employees yet they hold them accountable for a mistake and instantly fire them.
Again, if you find yourself in an interview with this company, RUN!! Move on to a company that is worth investing your time and energy into. I am currently looking for other options not because I am not in good standing, but because I refuse to invest in a company or organization that looks at the employees as work horses and truly dont look at there employees as humans.This organization should be the poster child for "disfunctional companies"
