Have Credit Cards just for them. The CC companies are begging for you to take them.
Order the service(whatever)then cancel the card. They can't charge you anymore if the card is done in. Ask them if you can pay by check.
I also have many different Checking accounts. The banks are giving them away for free half the time, some intrest bearing.
Whenever you are going to cancel something, make sure you stop the account they have been billing you on. Best bet would to try to get them on the checking account. Banks are more apt to help you out in a dispute, than a CC company.
By the way my CC Company backed out of billing me the $800.00 from Dish as the dish rep on the phone admitted that local dealers sometimes rip off the Dish network customers, While my CC company rep was on a 3 way call. I am staring at an $800.00 credit as I type.
